In an unplanned 1000 brake horsepower special, Andy, Dan and Scott get together once again in the Bauer bunker to discuss their highlights of the motoring week.
Kicking off the chat this week – BMW’s reborn 8 Series. Andy and Dan regale their experiences behind the wheel of the original E31 8 Series, before Scotty weighs in with his tuppence worth and whether the new version is the true spiritual successor or unrecognisably evolved.
Later, the chat turns to Ferrari’s pivotal new model – the SF90 Stradale. The manic mid-engined model marks a long list of firsts for the prancing horse, including plug-in power and numerous technological advances, but are they accessible gains in a world where tightening regulations and rules loom ominously?
And, fresh from a first encounter with the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Andy is bound and gagged for first impressions until next week, but it gives us an idea. In an age of sophisticated electronics and mandatory safety systems, can you still buy a truly unhinged horsepower hero?
