Henry Man is a motoring journalist passionate about the intersection of technology and transportation, with a focus on electric vehicles.

His interest in the automotive industry began when he first saw the Hyundai i30 ‘Free Yourself’ campaign in 2012 (when Australian car ads were good). Henry’s passion subsequently grew as new cars integrated more tech, from the Holden VF Commodore, BM-series Mazda 3 and, of course, the Tesla Model S. Remember when ‘iPod connectivity’ and ‘satellite navigation’ were key selling points?

Henry is an alum from The University of Queensland, and has contributed content to publications to help buyers understand the simple reality and complexities of EVs. He drives a 2019 Kia Rio Sport (manual), but intends to go electric next – if and when he has any disposable money…
