Even though Bullitt came out 50 years ago and Steve McQueen is no longer with us, the film’s 10 minute-long car chase sequence still captivates movie audiences and petrolheads everywhere.

Evocative and visceral, Bullitt’s car chase not only left an indelible mark in cinema history, but elevated the Mustang’s place in popular culture.

So when we pitched Ford’s latest tribute to the iconic Bullitt Mustang, against Chrysler’s thuggish-looking 300 SRT, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to make our own little tribute to the greatest car chase in cinema history and commit it to film (er... digital memory).
