The Honda Accord has received a minor update for the 2027 model year in Australia, introducing a handful of styling changes to the large hybrid sedan as it continues its segment tussle with the popular Toyota Camry.
The updated Accord, which is only available locally in a single hybrid e:HEV RS variant, receives body-coloured lower exterior trim and headlight surrounds in place of the gloss-black finishes used previously. A new black insert also replaces the silver trim on the lower front bumper, while the amber reflectors within the headlights have been removed.
Honda has also deleted the blue accents from the exterior badges, bringing the Accord into line with its newer models, but the e:HEV badge remains on the bootlid to identify that it’s a hybrid. Changes inside are even more limited, with additional red stitching on the gear selector the only noticeable difference.
Otherwise, the Accord continues with its existing equipment, including a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.5-inch head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose sound system and a panoramic sunroof.

Under the bonnet, the familiar 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain remains unchanged, producing 135kW of power and 335Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels and combined fuel consumption is rated at 4.3L/100km.
The update comes as the Accord celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026, having first launched globally in 1976. The current 11th-generation model arrived in Australia in 2024 and despite its long history, it’s now something of a niche product locally as just 59 units have been sold in 2026 so far.
The updated 2027 Honda Accord e:HEV RS is available to order now, priced at $65,900 driveaway, which is an increase of $1000 over the outgoing model.
