Lexus Australia has confirmed that the limited-edition RZ600e F Sport Performance will arrive locally in the fourth quarter of 2026, priced from $135,000 before on-road costs. Sitting at the top of the recently facelifted RZ electric medium SUV range, the new flagship will be one of the rarest Lexus models ever officially offered in Australia.

Just nine examples have been allocated locally from a global production run of fewer than 200 vehicles. For reference, only 10 units of the Lexus LFA V10 supercar were ever sold in Australia.

Those nine cars will be distributed through just eight of Lexus Australia’s 31 dealerships. Lexus of Brisbane is the only one to receive two vehicles, while Lexus of Chatswood, Lexus of Perth, Lexus of Parramatta, Lexus of Brighton, Lexus of Sutherland, Lexus of Blackburn and Sydney City Lexus will each get one.

The RZ600e F Sport Performance becomes Lexus’s most powerful production electric vehicle to date, producing 313kW, which is 13kW more than the RZ550e F Sport already on sale. It uses the same 77kWh lithium-ion battery and 167kW electric motors on the front and rear axles, but according to Lexus, revised powertrain tuning has increased the maximum combined output.

Power is sent through Lexus’s ‘DIRECT4’ all-wheel-drive system, helping the RZ600e accelerate from 0-100km/h in a claimed 4.4 seconds, while the WLTP driving range is rated at up to 420km, or 17km less than the RZ550e.

Lexus has also made changes to the chassis, including lowering the ride height by 20mm and fitting unique spring rates and performance dampers. Large 400mm ventilated front discs with six-piston calipers and 317mm rear ventilated discs also feature, and 21-inch Enkei alloy wheels with staggered 255/40 front and 295/35 rear tyres complete the dynamic changes.

Exterior revisions include a carbon-fibre front lip spoiler, unique bumper and grille, vented bonnet moulding, rear diffuser and dual spoilers, plus unique side skirts and door mouldings. Inside, the bolstered sports front seats are trimmed in suede, with the material also used across the dashboard and doors.

Like the RZ550e F Sport, the F Sport Performance features Lexus’s steer-by-wire system and yoke-style steering wheel, along with a manual driving mode for more driver interaction. Using the paddles mounted on the steering wheel, the system simulates an eight-speed transmission and a virtual tachometer to replicate a traditional internal-combustion performance car.

Other standard equipment includes heated and ventilated power front seats, heated outboard rear seats, a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.

‘Neutrino Grey’ two-tone paint will be standard, while the ‘Hakugin’ matte white two-tone finish adds $5000 to the price.

The first examples of the Lexus RZ600e F Sport Performance will land locally in the fourth quarter of 2026, with expressions of interest now open through Lexus dealerships.
