The tribute will have a production run of 30 cars, each of which will be built to individual requirements.

Specialising in development projects for motorsports and OEM, the RML Group is responsible for the only street-legal Aston Martin Vulcan as well as the classic Aston DB5 continuation cars.

RML took its design inspiration for the SWB (short wheelbase) V-12 from one of the most beautiful cars ever, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V12 normally found in a Ferrari 550 Maranello. Drive to the rear wheels is through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Output is 351kW and 568Nm for a zero to 100km/h time of 4.1 seconds, and a top speed estimated to be in excess of 298km/h.

Although the RML SWB uses the Ferrari 550 Maranello as its base, it has a shorter wheelbase and more compact body.

While the car can be serviced by Ferrari workshops, RML offers owners a Flying Spanner service where technicians will travel to where the vehicle is situated to perform the necessary maintenance.
