Volkswagen sharpens T-Cross Style drive-away pricing

Volkswagen has sharpened its offer on in-stock T-Cross Style models by $1000, dropping the drive-away price from $36,990 to $35,990.

For those in the market for a light SUV right now, Volkswagen’s Australian arm has promised 1400 examples of T-Cross 85 TSI Style are bound for our shores, so wait times will be minimal.

The 85 TSI Life is also on offer until 30 June, though its $33,490 price has climbed by $500 from before.

The Life is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging, fabric upholstery, and a leather-appointed steering wheel.

Volkswagen’s T-Cross Style gains LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, and ‘comfort sport’ cloth upholstery.

Both variants use an 85kW/200Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the front wheels.

Volkswagen Australia is offering incentives on certain models, including three years free servicing for Tiguan Allspace 132TSI Life and drive-away deals on others.

Five years of free servicing is already included with the purchase of a VW Passat, Passat Alltrack, Arteon and Touareg until March 31.

The Tiguan 132TSI Life comes with a three year/45,000km care plan, normally valued at $1650, and like the other VW models with free service plans, is available to purchase from dealers right now.

The 132TSI life lists at $48,390 before on-road costs and features a 132kW/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine hooked up to all four wheels via a seven-speed DSG automatic.

“Free servicing is a local cost initiative designed to help offset global cost increases faced by all brands in the areas of supply chain and logistics”, Volkswagen Australia said in a statement.

Drive-away price offers on select models

In addition to the now five-strong selection of vehicles with free servicing incentives, Volkswagen is offering fixed national drive-away deals on the below vehicles.

Volkswagen is also offering finance deals on T-Roc Style and R-Line, as well as Tiguan Life, Elegance, and Monochrome.

From January 1, 2023, Volkswagen pushed through a raft of increases to list prices, running from $240 for a T-Cross Style light SUV to $1500 for a Tiguan R medium SUV – but the price increases did not reflect any additional equipment.
