If there was a vehicle that generated more interest in 2022 than the next-gen Ford Ranger, we didn’t hear about it. So it was an obvious choice to sign on the dotted line for a Ranger Sport V6 as the next 4X4 Australia build project.
With a bold, fresh look, the all-new Ford Ranger Sport is powered by a refined 3.0-litre V6 engine producing 184kW and 600Nm, which is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. A wider ladder-frame chassis provides a more sure-footed on- and off-road experience, while a revamped interior raises the bar to an entirely new level in the dual-cab segment.
The Ranger is now the class leader in terms of equipment, safety, towing and performance, and the V6 Sport variant even took out top honours in our 2022 mega dual-cab comparison test.
