Holden

Holden has been synonymous with the Australian car market ever since its introduction in 1948. It was once a local car manufacturer with production spanning more than 60 years, however the GM-owned subsidiary is now a full-line importer offering a variety of small hatchbacks, large sedans and large SUVs to Australians. Holden’s most successful model was the locally-manufactured Commodore which held a great rivalry with Ford’s Falcon until production stopped in 2017. The brand now imports cars from around the world including the Colorado from Thailand, the Astra from Germany and the Acadia from the United States.
