Holden Commodore

Ever since the first Holden Commodore was released in 1978, it has been adored by many Australian families and motoring enthusiasts alike. For a great many, it was the pride of Australia car manufacturing.

Despite shutting its local manufacturing operations, Holden kept the name alive on the German-built ZB series. While still roomy on the inside as a Commodore should be, the Commodore is now closer in size to the likes of the Toyota Camry, Mazda 6 and Volkswagen Passat.

The Commodore is available in liftback sedan, wagon, and raised “Tourer” bodystyles, with drivetrain options for a FWD 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol or diesel, and AWD 3.6-litre V6. Prices range from $33,690 for the entry-level LT Liftback to $55,990 for the VXR Liftback.
