- Fuel pump failure could lead to loss of power
- Repair work will be carried out free of charge
A recall notice has been issued for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class due to a potential fuel pump issue.
Affecting a total of 56 units sold this year, the vehicle has been recalled as the nozzle within the suction jet pump in the fuel tank may become detached, leading to a loss of power.
Throughout 2021, Mercedes-Benz has sold 194 examples of the S-Class to the end of October, with the units recalled accounting for just under 30 per cent of those delivered to customers.

Mercedes-Benz has said 2021 S-Class owners can contact their nearest dealer to have the replacement parts fitted free of charge, or book through the manufacturer’s online service booking portal.
Alternatively, those who are unsure about whether their vehicle is affected can contact Mercedes-Benz’s customer assistance centre on 1300 300 896 or [email protected]
