In a world first, Mercedes-Benz Australia has built a digital studio at its local headquarters in Melbourne, giving prospective Mercedes customers the chance to book a one-on-one session with a product expert who can walk them through the features of a potential purchase.
Using a secure video portal, customers will be able to ask questions about new models, compare two cars to see which they prefer or discover features that they may not have known about.
“Some customers don’t want to visit a dealership but want to know more about certain features than they can find out online,” said Mercedes-Benz Australia spokesman Jerry Stamoulis.

Indeed, its clear that the complexity around switching to EVs is something that many potential buyers feel daunted by, the Digital Studio offering a forum to ask questions about charging, range and other EV-specific questions that can help ease that transition.
The video portal supports one-way video only, so customers can see the feed from the studio but their camera will not be engaged.
During the consultation, which can be booked through the Mercedes-Benz Australia website and is available 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, customers can choose whether to receive a personalised 360-degree introductory tour of the vehicle or dive straight in with specific questions for the product expert.

At the conclusion of the call, customers are invited to configure a vehicle with their choice of trims, colours and options. Existing stock can be searched, test drives organised and, if required, finance arranged.
Jump onto the booking page here to select your vehicle and reserve a session.
