Subaru XV
The first Subaru to wear the XV badge was an Impreza before the Subaru XV became a model in its own right – sharing its underpinnings with the WRX sedan and wagon.
First introduced in 2012 to address Subaru’s absence in the small SUV market, the second-generation XV was launched in 2017.
In 2020, the XV became Subaru’s first electrified model with a mild-hybrid variant joining the 2.0-litre petrol version.
All versions have a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and Subaru’s proprietary all-wheel drive system.
The Subaru XV sits in the busy small-SUV segment, alongside popular models such as the Ford Puma, Kia Seltos, Mazda CX-30, Toyota C-HR, and Volkswagen T-Roc.
