A recall notice has been issued by Mercedes-Benz for its 2019 A-Class and CLA-Class, with just six units on the list of affected vehicles.

The reported defect relates to a potentially incorrectly side-mounted crash sensor, used to determine when to deploy airbags in the event of an accident.

If the sensors aren't correctly mounted, they may not trigger the airbags in time, potentially leading to a higher risk of injury for occupants.
