Isuzu Australia has recalled a total of 98 examples of the 2021 Isuzu D-Max ute due to a potential issue with the canopy roof racks.

According to a recall notice published by the Department of Infrastructure, the Genuine Isuzu Canopy Roof Rack “may not meet the manufacturing specifications.”

The issue could cause the mounts to detach or become loose, resulting in potential damage to the ute canopy.

Isuzu will contact affected owners, but the company can be contacted directly by calling 1300 147 898 or visiting a dealership, found here.
