  • 48 vehicles affected

Jaguar Land Rover Australia has recalled 48 2020 and 2021 Defender models, as the front seat bracket may not meet factory specification.

More specifically, the fault identified relates to the front seat bracket which allows the seat to adjust forwards and backwards, potentially allowing the front seat to latch further forward than Land Rover intended.

The recall is only relevant to the third generation L663 Defender 90 models which were produced between 2020 and 2021.

This issue can compromise the strength of the seat in the event of an accident.
