After a new Mitsubishi, but not sure how long you'll have to wait?

Issues such as semiconductor chip shortages, shipping problems and sickness and isolation have affected the ability of manufacturers like Mitsubishi to keep their production lines going over the last three years.

As such, all of the brand’s models are currently experiencing some delays.

However, some models are in greater supply than others, with flexibility around powertrains, specification and vehicle colour likely to see a vehicle in your driveway sooner.

"The stock situation is constantly evolving and that information we provide is general in nature and not specific to individual orders, who may have a longer or shorter wait time depending on their chosen colour or accessory choices, for example," a spokesperson for Mitsubishi Motors Australia told Wheels.

"We’d encourage individuals to communicate with their Mitsubishi dealer for their specific needs."

The carmaker has three players making regular appearances in the top 20: the Triton, Outlander and ASX.

As for the ASX, Eclipse Cross, Pajero Sport and Triton, supply has been tight, but unallocated stock is expected in the first quarter of the year.
