Mazda is a Japanese manufacturer of passenger cars which was first introduced to the Australian new car market in the 1960s. In the early days the brand offered a variety of reliable cars and was known for its reputation to produce the Wankel rotary engine. Since then, the brand has become increasingly popular, especially in Australia thanks to its quality small hatchback, small SUV and large SUV models. Its recent move toward upmarket and premium model positioning has afforded the brand a unique position of being the middle-ground between cheaper Japanese cars and premium European cars. The current model fleet features the popular Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Mazda CX-3, Mazda CX-5 and Mazda BT-50 among others. All Mazda's come with a five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
