Western Australia is massive – hell, it’ll take you 24 hours to drive from Perth to Broome – but there are some ripping four-wheel drive tracks close to the state’s capital.
Day trippers can bask in the beauty of Walyunga National Park, only 50km northeast of Perth, or weekenders can venture a tad further to a bunch of the state’s other great National Parks.
Nevertheless, these parks are worth the journey and will certainly warrant a return visit.
