Gordon Murray Automotive has announced it will reveal its next model later this month.

While few details are known about the GMA T.33, the company is referring to the vehicle as a Supercar GT, suggesting it will be a more comfortable vehicle compared to the brand’s upcoming T.50 flagship.

Founder of GMA and designer of the McLaren F1, Gordon Murray, has revealed the new model will be a more accessible supercar.

“The [T.33] will have a different version of the V12, with different materials, and a different version of the gearbox,” Murray told Top Gear magazine.

“We will keep the manual of course, but also offer it with an automatic gearbox – some sort of paddle-shift.”

Rather than using a carbonfibre tub, Murray says the T.33 will use “a completely different architecture,” but has confirmed it will be offered as a two-seater, instead of the three-seat layout used in the McLaren F1 and GMA T.50.

"So although it's not another T.50, it still sticks to all our principles of light weight and engineering art and exclusivity."

All of this strongly suggests the GMA T.33 will be offered at a more accessible price point – though how far under the T.50’s price tag of £2.36 million (AU$4.46m) has yet to be revealed.

The GMA T.33 will be unveiled in the early hours of January 28.
