With myriad towbar options available for the Ranger - from fixed to removable, flange to swan neck, and towbar and ball setups - the choice can be overwhelming. A high-quality towbar not only provides peace of mind but adds versatility, making the Ranger a powerful tool for work and leisure.

Here are four products we recommend. They’re intended as a starting point, to give you an idea of what’s available. We’ve included information on Ford Australia’s genuine accessories, in case you’d prefer to stick to OEM.

What it is: A towbar for towing, and maybe more!

Why you need it: Well, to tow a trailer. But also maybe for rear protection, and improved departure angles when off-roading.

Buying tips: Rangers can tow up to 3500kg so make sure your bar is rated to 3500kg. You may also consider an off-road-focused bar which improves departure angle, or one with a step built-in.
